The Smart MaaS research project came to a grand end during the three-day final conference “Future Mobility Conference on MaaS”, which took place from March 23 – 25. On the first day, the results and insights from the three years of the project activities were presented by the project partners, the concomitant research and the lead partner. On the next “International Future Mobility Day” the participants received valuable contributions from leading mobility experts, around the topic “Mobility-as-a-Service”. The “FIWARE Mobility Day” concluded the conference and gave cities and mobility providers the opportunity to work together to find solutions to improve the citizens’ quality of life. During the three days of the event, existing challenges and potential solutions could be discussed. Additionally, it was analyzed which basics need to be in place in cities and municipalities in order to integrate new mobility models.
Concurrently with the final conference, the Smart MaaS white paper “SmartMaas: The Beacon Of Disruption For Sustainable Transportation Systems” was published, which summarizes the project progress supported by best practice examples.
