A widely available charging infrastructure accelerates the use of e-vehicles. Within the framework of the 4th call for funding “Charging infrastructure for electric vehicles in Germany”, many of the more than 20,000 members of the Cleopa energy network became active in order to receive grant funding. To make the funding process easier, Cleopa experts have prepared written notes and a short video. “We were surprised by the success of the information offer. If all participating members apply for funding, over €6 million in grants will be applied for and over 200 charging points will be created,” says Detlef Olschewski, Managing Director of Cleopa GmbH.
Especially the informative video with the step-by-step instructions and the hints for the important details helped the companies to meet the short deadline of the end of October. It is planned to set up a “Mobility” working group in the Cleopa energy network in order to continuously exchange information, experiences and new concepts. What is more, Cleopa experts are also active in research programmes on future mobility and innovations.
